Local Indigenous Guides: Tsimane staff will be an essential part of the team that helps in the navigation, portaging and much of the traversing we do through this unique terrain. These guys are also experts on the local indigenous culture and its jungle home, subjects you will come to learn from by observing their skills and interactions.

Guide-Operated Boats: Our Tsimane boatmen have many years of experience navigating canoes through treacherous water, and specifically fast water with structure. Our guys know what they are doing and have extensive knowledge not only on operating and maintaining these engines and boats, but also how to manoeuvre them amongst all the substrate, keeping you safe and into the most inaccessible waters to fish.

Camp Accommodations: Safari style tents and beds/pillows for a comfortable and bug free sleep, meshed in dining areas, bathrooms, showers, lighting, laundry and even some cards, dice and speakers if music is desired. The permits have been pre-negotiated at $550.00 per visitor, money that will be re-distributed by the indigenous leaders to all communities participating in the project. (These are the $550 charged for Indigenous Territory fees)

Equipment: Our adventures often take us to explore areas far from our camps, we will be making fly camps out further in the untouched wilderness. Camping equipment will be needed to explore these areas. All tents, cots, sleeping bags, solar batteries, tables and chairs, among other items, will be provided. Also, for those interested in catching giant catfish, we will provide some heavy spinning and bait-casting rigs.
