Day 1: SANTA CRUZ TO SAN JOSE DE CHIQUITOS
0830 hotel pick up and drive 3.5 hours to San Jose De Chiquitos, check in at the Villa Chiquitania hotel and lunch, after lunch we explore the town’s attractions including the Jesuit Mission Church, Santa Cruz Vieja, Valley de la Luna and have an amazing view point from a secluded mirador which has flocks of macaws and spectacular views. Dinner and bed.
DAY 2 SAN JOSE – CHOCHIS – SANTIAGO DE CHIQUITOS
Breakfast and we depart San Jose de Chiquitos, 1.5 hours and we arrive to the impressive Chochis where we spend the next few hours exploring the Sanctuary Church and impressive rock formation. After a few hours exploring we depart for Santiago de Chiquitos where we check in and have a freshly prepared lunch. Rest and afternoon excursion to the Mirador of Santiago de Chiquitos. Dinner and Bed.
Day 3 Santiago de Chiquitos Full day exploring
Breakfast and we depart for an amazing day’s adventure exploring the Valley of Tucavaca, here we explore amazing rock formations, dry forests of the Chiquitania, ancient rock paintings, caves and much more. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Chiquitos.
Day 4 Santiago de Chiquitos, Aguas Callientes – Santa Cruz
0800 early breakfast and departure to the largest thermal river in Bolivia, here we have a few hours relaxing in the healing waters, we depart with stops in San Jose for lunch before returning to Santa Cruz in the evening.
