The drive which can take 4 hours in dry season or much longer in the wet season is spectacular and offers ever changing landscapes as well as photo opportunities for indigenous communities, rivers and interesting rock formations. We arrive to the National Park of Toro Toro where we pay park fees, check in to our comfortable hotel and have a delicious lunch. Our guide will explain about the natural wonders of the park and its flora and fauna which include the endangered Andean Condor, Endemic Red Fronted Macaw, Puma and the rarely seen Andean Cat. The afternoon activity includes a hike to the deepest cave in Bolivia called Umajalanta where we explore the caves attractions. We keep an eye out for blind fish, strange rabbit like creatures called Viscachas and learn about how this cave was formed. During the hiking we also see unique rock formations and ancient paintings thought to be over 2000 years old.  Lunch and we explore more of the park and seeing more landscapes of ridges, canyons and dinosaur tracks. We continue on down 1000 steps to the bottom of the canyon where we visit the beautiful El Vergel waterfalls which is an amazing treat after the hike. We have time to swim and bathe in the river before hiking back to the 4WD.
