Located on the border of Bolivia and Peru, Lake Titicaca is one of the largest, deepest and highest lakes on earth. Steeped in ancient history this lake is rumoured by Incans to have been the birth place of the sun, moon, stars and the first humans. TOUR ITINEARY
Early morning hotel pick up and transfer to Copacabana. Here we visit the culturally significant sanctuary before sailing to the Catamaran Cruise Ship to Isla De Sol. You will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and afterwards we explore the Challapampa Village where we have the chance to interact with the locals and also visit the areas museum, townhouse, schools and more. You also have the opportunity to sail in the communities specially made vessels to visit an Incan Holy Temple, see an Andean Ritual and walk through their Inca trails.
Candle light dinner, and overnight on board the comfortable Catamaran where you have Lake view Cabins with private bathroom.
As the Catamaran sails across the Lake, we enjoy a delicious breakfast while enjoying breathtaking views. We visit the areas many attractions which include Pilkokaina Inca Palace, Inti Wati Cultural Complex, Titicaca Shipbuilders Display Centre, Pachamamma Agricultural Inca Terraces and more. We also continue on exploring additional attractions including the Intica Lounge and the Manco Kapac Look out.
One of the main highlights of the day is visiting the Inca Garden and Inca Fountain, this includes the unique experience of sailing in a huge traditional Titicaca Reed Vessel for amazing photographic opportunities of the Pilkokaina Inca Palace.
Buffet Lunch on board before we return to Copacabana and have our transfer back to your hotel in La Paz.
