Situated just 25 km from the City of Santa Cruz is the beautiful yet rarely visited protected area Lomas de Arena.

Basic Itinerary
Hotel pick up and we commence our journey to Lomas de Arena, We stop briefly at the infamous Palmasola Prison to learn about its dark history before we enter the park, as we enter the park we commence a 4WD drive and we scan the forests for Sloths and Monkey which we frequently but never promise to see, we arrive at the main sand dunes, and commence our guided trek of the area visiting the lakes, learning about the park and exploring the surrounding forests looking for some of the areas unique wildlife. After the trek this is where the real adventure begins as we bring out our specially designed sand boards and we have numerous attempts trying both stand up and sit down sand boards.
After the sand boarding fun and trekking activities we say goodbye to Lomas de Arena and we depart back to your original pick up point.
